This course is designed for perinatal nurse who previously completed the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course, a comparable fetal monitoring educational program and/or who hold certification or added credentials in fetal heart monitoring (It may be used to support preparation for certification examinations).

The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. AWHONN Course Fees

AWHONN Course fees are subject to change based on the location, a private program at your facility or registering for an upcoming course. Email me at perinatalmentor@gmail.com for more details on those options. 

Instructor Fee: $150,  registration is non-refundable and can be transferred to next available course only. Cancellations or transfers must be made 48 hours prior to start of the course or all fees are forfeited.

The textbook Fetal Heart Monitoring Principles & Practices 5th edition for $74.95 hardback/34.95 e-book is only recommended as a reference material for the course and or test. It can  NOT  be purchased as a replacement for the required resource above, as stated this is a recommended resource only. Chapters 10 and 11 will prepare you for our class and assist with successful completion of the advanced efm test if needed. The book is a valuable resource even after the program for you and your colleagues.
